ClearJet Secures $25M Growth Investment Led by Edison Partners to Scale its SuperCarrier Network for Package Deliveries

ClearJet, a leader in parcel logistics infrastructure and orchestration for brands, e-commerce shippers, and 3PLs, today announced it has raised a $25 million growth equity investment led by Edison Partners, with participation from returning investors Venture53, Origin Ventures, Salt VC, and SpringTime Ventures. ClearJet’s investor base also includes early backers Sky VC (formerly JetBlue Ventures) and Tandem Ventures. The new funding brings ClearJet’s total capital raised to more than $40 million, and will support the company’s continued expansion across its network of 95 U.S. airports and investment in its profitable AI-powered logistics platform.

ClearJet connects shippers with unused cargo space on commercial flights, delivering packages nationwide at the speed of air freight and the price of ground shipping. The company’s software-powered delivery network is carrier agnostic and combines the staffing, sorting, and ground infrastructure needed to move packages on planes already flying between American cities. It creates what the company calls a “SuperCarrier” model in a global parcel market that is expected to reach $900 billion by 2032. ClearJet currently moves more than 30 million packages a year – a fraction of the 1.8 billion air-eligible parcels annually – with delivery volumes and revenue both growing 2.5x annually.

“Rather than compete with the existing national package delivery services, we work with them. We’ve created a service that lets retailers build their own parcel delivery network with regional and national carriers of their choice to every zip code nationwide, efficiently and affordably,” said Chris Guggenheim, founder and CEO of ClearJet. “This investment lets us expand this vision at scale, with Edison’s growth experience for our next chapter.”

Getting a package across the country fast has typically meant premium-air prices while choosing lower-price has meant slow ground. ClearJet collapses that tradeoff with air skipping, which flies consolidated e-commerce packages directly to their destination region and injects them straight into local last-mile delivery, skipping regional hubs and trucking stops that slow down ground shipping. Its configurable delivery model delivers up to a 35% reduction in shipping costs alongside 1–3 day faster delivery. Several multi-billion dollar retail brands, e-commerce platforms, 3PLs, marketplaces, and alternative regional parcel carriers OnTrac and Veho plug ClearJet’s infrastructure into their own systems, apps, or branding to build a customized shipping network, without owning transportation assets, tailored to speed, cost, geography, and carrier preference.

“What stood out to us is that ClearJet is built by operators who’ve run national delivery systems, have already proven the model at scale with a large number of enterprise customers, and is doing it profitably. By connecting multiple carriers into one platform, ClearJet’s AI tech stack and operations layer helps retailers to deliver on their consumer brand promise at lower cost. We believe ClearJet’s Air Zone Skip product will become the default way e-commerce moves through this country,” said Ryan Ziegler, General Partner, Edison Partners.

ClearJet joins Edison Partners’ other vertical SaaS and AI investments in companies modernizing critical, legacy infrastructure including 120Water, Budderfly, CleanDesign, MappedIn, Overhaul, RapidDeploy, and Seismos.
